Experience

Everardo (Evy) Zavala, Jr. is an experienced litigation attorney in both state and federal courts. Evy served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Terry J. Hatter, Jr., Chief Judge of the United States District Court, Central District of California, gaining invaluable insight and tutelage from the federal bench.

Following law school, Mr. Zavala entered private practice where he secured valuable business litigation experience representing a range of large corporations, as well as acquiring coveted criminal experience working alongside former prosecutors.

By successfully representing the "other side," Evy acquired a unique understanding of the tactics used by law enforcement and powerful companies. This insider knowledge has groomed him to anticipate the vulnerabilities of his opponents’ cases, helping him successfully secure dismissals and reduced charges for some clients in criminal cases, and obtaining impressive settlements on litigation matters.

In 2006, Mr. Zavala established the Zavala Law Firm where he has proven successful in, both, state and federal courts. In addition to his practice, Evy served as former Chief Counsel of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, as well as serving on the national Board of Directors of the Christian Legal Society.

Evy remains active in his community as a member of HRock Church in Pasadena, California.
