Everardo (Evy) Zavala, Jr. is an experienced litigation attorney in both state and federal courts. While attending law school, Evy served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Terry J. Hatter, Jr., Chief Judge of the United States District Court, Central District of California, where he gained invaluable tutelage from the federal bench.
Upon graduating from law school, Mr. Zavala entered private practice where he acquired valuable criminal experience working alongside former prosecutors, in addition to securing coveted litigation experience representing a range of large corporations.
By successfully representing the "other side," Evy acquired a unique understanding of the tactics used by law enforcement and large powerful companies. This insider knowledge has groomed him to anticipate the vulnerabilities of his opponents’ cases, and at times, helping him successfully secure reduced charges or dismissals, as well as obtaining impressive settlements on litigation matters.
In 2006, Mr. Zavala established the Zavala Law Firm where he has proven successful in, both, state and federal courts. In addition to his practice, Evy served as former Chief Counsel of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, as well as serving on the national Board of Directors of the Christian Legal Society.
Evy remains active in his community as a member of HRock Church and Harvest International Ministry in Pasadena, California.
